SHE'S TERNACIOUS (5) started at 6/1 last time and ran below expectations, finishing fifth and beaten 3 lengths at Ballarat over 7½f. Tom Madden gets the best out of this five-year-old mare. Ideally placed and is sure to take a ton of beating. ROO DASH ONE (4) did little and finished 15 lengths from the winner in eighth over 1m at Ballarat last start after being in contention on the turn, a less impressive effort than his fourth at Pakenham Synthetic the run before. Ideally placed and is sure to play a major role. LACEMAKER (9) improved sharply on her sixth two starts back at Pakenham Synthetic with a win over 6¾f at Donald two weeks ago, getting home by a nose after being prominent at the turn. Finds a suitable race and can build on that solid recent effort. KUSINI (3) missed the placings two runs back then didn't do any better last start when 4 lengths away in seventh over 5½f at Hamilton. Likely improver with strong top-three prospects.
