SCORCHED LAND (6) continued the encouraging form and wasn't far away last time when second over 5½f at Longreach. Extra trip a plus and is worth including. JETSKI (4) was in the money two starts back at Mackay but couldn't back it up last time when seventh, beaten 15 lengths, at Mt Isa over 7¼f. Steps up a level but he is up to the task. STRIKE POINT (2) is overdue for a win with two recent placings, the latest finishing second over 7f at Winton, and is down in the weights this time. Reunites with Jason Hoopert who has two wins from five rides. Sure to be competitive. REMORSELESS (7) was safely held when second last time out over 7¼f at Mt Isa, beaten 3.5 lengths, after a win at this track at the previous outing. Worth plenty of thought.
