ILLUMINARE (6) resumes after a break of ten weeks. Won on debut to launch the last campaign over 7f at Saratoga. Leading contender. Group 3 placegetter DILGER (7) turned in a better run last time to finish third over 6f at Saratoga after being in the firing line on the bend. Stepping up a level this time but on his best form he is good enough to take this out. Group 2 placegetter JEFFERSON STREET (1) is a talented colt who tackled tougher grade last time, finishing 11 lengths behind Domestic Product over 7f in the G1 H Allen Jerkens Memorial Stakes at Saratoga (Dirt). Should camp just off the leaders. One of the main contenders. Group 2 placegetter VALENTINE CANDY (2) raced on the pace over 7f at Listed level at Charles Town (Dirt) last time and went on to win by 1.5 lengths. Must be respected.
