DARK VECTOR (1) finds it hard to win with just one success from 10 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fifth over 7f at this track, beaten 6 lengths. Ideally placed and is sure to take a ton of beating. CAPONE (4) produced a good run two starts back to finish third but failed to live up to market expectations last time when out of the placings at this track (Dirt) over the same trip after he was prominent at the turn. Won't find this as tough so he is set to turn things around. ICE ROAD (6) has recorded four minor placings from six starts this preparation, the latest when second as a well-fancied conveyance over 1m at this track (Dirt). He looks a genuine threat. GOOD RAPPORT (10) hasn't been far away recently including last time out when third over 7f at this track (Dirt). Blinkers on should sharpen him right up.
