MARINA (2) showed good early speed and led into the straight before fading to finish fifth, beaten 13 lengths, over 7¾f at Morphettville Parks. Expected to measure up here. Take catching. EFFORT (4) could only manage 12th on turf in a at Balaklava then was again unplaced on turf over 1m1f at Morphettville more recently. Nicely placed and worth following up back on dirt. MOOSE RIVER (7) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 9 lengths when fifth over 6f at Broken Hill three weeks ago. Finds a more suitable contest and can take this out. CELESTIAL ILLUSION (8) has not won for a long while. Last raced on November 6 when beaten 7 lengths into 12th at Port Lincoln over 5f after he was well back on straightening. Suitably placed so anticipating a bold performance.
