OMBUDSMAN (7) turned in an eye-catching run over 1m1/2f at this track last time, ridden back before coming home with a powerful run to finish third. Expected to prove tough to hold out again. REGAL CITY (1) went forward last start and gave a great sight when second over 1m1/2f at this track. Has the gate speed to cross from out wide. Form at this track is solid. Likely to feature. SET THE SCENE (2) was an impressive winner last time over 1m1/2f at this track, stalking the pace before lengthening nicely to score by 6 lengths. Record at this track is strong. Capable of a big run. GAMBLER'S GOLD (4) could only manage fourth two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1m3f at Broome, beaten 4 lengths. No surprise to see him in the frame.
