THE KING'S AFFAIR (7) has accrued three minor placings from three runs this campaign. Continued the trend at the most recent appearance when runner-up over 5f at this track after she got a long way back in the run. Must be included on the strength of that form. FORBIDDEN APPLE (6) is a three-year-old filly who is having her first run for the Sean Rains stable. Finished off last campaign with a fourth at Doomben three-and-a-half months ago. Not seen at the trials but is in a nice race. Expected to be in the finish. MAPLETTE (10) is a five-year-old mare on debut from the stable of R J Malpass. By Unencumbered from Our Oak.
