CRYSTAL VAIN (1) was a gutsy winner last time over 1m at this track, scoring by 0.9 lengths to make it two wins in succession. Should park just off the speed. Expecting a bold showing. WUHAN WARRIOR (7) improved last start to finish third over 7f at this track after being prominent at the turn. Meets some better types this time but he has the talent to test this line-up. WELD (6) has been in great form with two placings in succession, most recently when beaten 5.5 lengths into second after he was well back on straightening over 5f at this track. It doesn't get any easier but on his best form he is right in contention. ORISTANO (9) returned from a lay-off two-and-a-half weeks ago when he was beaten 5 lengths into sixth over 6f at this track. Fitter so expect a better run this time.
