JESMOND DAWN (6) attracted market support before finishing fourth on handicap debut at Catterick (7f). Might come good this time. NORTHERN CRACKSMAN (10) was second in blinkers at Newcastle two runs ago. Second adopting a visor at Haydock subsequently. Likely not the most straightforward. Does boast definite claims back in blinkers. HARDMAN (5) is yet to make the frame in three novice appearances. May do better on handicap debut wearing first-time blinkers. OCEANIC WONDER (8) is without a win after nine attempts. Only beaten 1.25L fourth at Ripon ten days ago and won’t be far away with a similar display.
