COSMONOVA (4) did little and finished 5 lengths from the winner in ninth over 5½f at Rosehill last start, a less impressive effort than her when resuming fourth at Warwick Farm the run before. Worth noting Reece Jones goes aboard. Perfectly placed and is sure to prove tough to beat. GOLD DUST (7) pushed forward when resuming last time and boxed on to finish a neck away in second over 5½f at Hawkesbury. Meeting a deeper field this time but she is good enough to play a major role. MAFIA (2) was easily accounted for when eighth last start over 5½f at Randwick, beaten 16 lengths after a good when resuming win at Wyong. In contention this time.
