STEEL BLAZE (1) has been out of the placings in two runs since a break, the latest when ninth, beaten 4 lengths, over 1m at Kembla Grange. Will strip fitter and is ready to win. EL LAGO (6) finished 1.75 lengths away in sixth last time out over 1m1/4f at Moruya a week ago. Steps up in journey. Will find this a little tougher but is among the leading chances. RUFF (9) finished 3.5 lengths away in ninth last time out over 7½f at Rosehill two weeks ago. Steps up in distance. Has the gate speed to take up a forward position. Sure to be competitive. AUNT ROBERTA (2) turned things around last start and scored by 3.5 lengths over 1m2 1/2f at Goulburn. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run.
