SPIRIT IN THE DARK (10) returns after six months in the paddock. Closed the last campaign with a fifth over 5f at Goulburn. Has ability and can get off the mark. SERIAL OFFENDER (9) finished third last time out over 5f at this track, making it two career minor placings. Has a good record at this distance with two top-three results from four starts. Top chance to break through. CHEBICI (7) did a fair job on debut last time out, finishing 2.25 lengths from the winner in sixth over 5f at this track. Expected to feature with improvement to come. BATTLE WARRIOR (5) was out of the money on debut two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 5f at Wyong, beaten 6 lengths into eighth. Ideally placed and is sure to play a pivotal role.
