GETTY (1) wasn't far off maiden success before a break of ten weeks, finishing the campaign with a minor placing over 5f at this track. Launched last prep with a minor placing at Gosford over 5f. Rates on top and is a great chance to break through. MISS BAYLES (4) sat on the pace when fresh from a lay-off last start but faded to be beaten 2.5 lengths into fifth over 5f at Hawkesbury. Has plenty of upside. Should camp just off the leaders. Likely to feature. DESIROUS (8) was in the firing line on the corner and finished second last time over 5f at this track when resuming from a lay-off, beaten a neck. In the right race and is a winning hope. SUTTON VELLA (7) made an encouraging debut last time out, finishing 1.75 lengths from the winner in third over 5f at this track. Can figure in the finish.
