MEMPHIS SHADOW (9) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 4¾f at this track, beaten 4.5 lengths. Has a fair record when second up, including two top-three finishes. Nicely placed to find winning form. BURNS TO EMBRACE (1) produced a reasonable effort to finish 1.2 lengths away in fifth last start over 6¼f at this track. That followed a when resuming win at this track. Has his share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. Group 3 placegetter OVERLORD (5) finished off last campaign with a fifth over 6½f at Hawkesbury on March 19 and has since switched trainers. Goes well when fresh with two wins and two minor placings from seven starts. Should feature in the finish. RESTRICTIONS (7) improved sharply last time out to score by a nose over 5f at Home Hill two-and-a-half weeks ago. Likely to be there at the finish again.
