CHOIR BOY (2) progressed nicely last time out to finish just 0.6 lengths from the winner in second over 7½f at this track after being in the firing line on the corner. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. STADIUM OF LIGHT (4) was in the money two starts back at this track but was unable to repeat the effort last time when sixth, beaten 1.5 lengths, at Mareeba over 1m2f after being in the firing line on the bend. Taking on a better line-up this time but he deserves another chance. TWO SMOKIN BARRELS (1) was well beaten in harder company in a then better placed last time and finished in the money when a 0.7 lengths third over 1m2f. Finds a suitable assignment here and rates among the leading chances. VANCOUVER BAY (3) raced on the speed from the outset and went to score by 0.8 lengths last time over 1m1f at Mackay. Ashley Butler who has two wins when partnering stays on. One of the better hopes.
