My dominator (3) turned in a nice effort to score two runs ago at this track.Less impressive last time out when fourth over 6f at fresno, beaten 3.5 lengths after being in contention on the corner.Alexander chavez is a key engagement.Looks well placed so expect a better run this time.Roister (4) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 1.2 lengths when fifth in a 1m contest at this track two-and-a-half weeks ago after being in contention on the bend.Asa espinoza gets the best out of this four-year-old gelding.Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways.R m c hook'em (9) was well in commission last time but ran below expectations when seventh and beaten 13 lengths over 6f at fresno (dirt).Can bounce back.Rally cat (7) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 5½f at this track, beaten 3.5 lengths into fifth.No surprise to see him in the mix.
