HAND GRENADE (1) showed good early muster and fought on to finish third last start over 6¼f at Cairns. Ideally placed and is sure to prove tough to beat. WELL HELD (3) showed good early dash at the first run after a lay-off last time out and led for most of the way before being claimed and finishing half a length away in second over 5½f at Mackay. Solid run last time and will take catching again. VALENTINO MISS (5) started at 7/2 last time and ran below expectations, finishing 12th and beaten 15 lengths at Home Hill over 5f196yards. Nicely placed to make amends. SNEAKY FREDDY (2) broke his maiden last start over 6f at Prairie, scoring by 7 lengths. Re-unites with Carl Spry who was on board last start. Harder task ahead this time but can measure up.
