FALL OF ROME (1) raced on the speed last start and battled on well but found one better over 6f at Wodonga. Top chance in a nice race for him. RECIPROCAL (10) settled well back then made some inroads and finished 2 lengths away in sixth last time out over 5f at Murray Bridge when fresh from a lay-off as 3/1 favourite. Steps up in distance. Won't find this as tough. Will be hard to stop. PAINTED PONY (8) resumed two-and-a-half weeks ago over 6f at Strathalbyn and was only beaten one length into fifth. Strips fitter and can take this out. GREAT CITY (2) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 6f at Naracoorte, beaten 4.5 lengths. Finds a suitable race and can figure in the finish.
