RED PATROL (1) has been racing in great heart with two wins on end followed by recent back-to-back placings, the latest a third over 1m2 1/4f at Mt Gambier when he was in the firing line all the way. Has the ability to figure prominently. HOLMES (7) raced on the speed last start and battled on well but found one better over 1m2f at Murray Bridge. Has been in the money at all five starts this campaign, including a win. Sure to run well. VICTORY BANDIT (5) started at 17/2 last time on the back of a win at Mt Gambier two starts ago but was below her best, finishing sixth over 1m1/2f at Penola. Has the talent to put the recent run behind her. WEST CLIFF (3) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m1/2f at Penola, beaten 2 lengths into fourth. Well placed and can figure in the finish this time.
