Group 2 placegetter RUE DE ROYALE (8) returned from a lay-off two weeks ago when he was beaten 4 lengths into fifth over 6f at Moonee Valley. Beautifully placed and is sure to take a ton of beating. ATHANATOS (1) was well fancied last time and did a good job to finish second over 6½f at Sandown-Hillside at the third run of the prep. Has the winkers removed this time. Rates strongly and bold showing expected. VIANARRA (11) was well held in the ATC Sires' Produce Stakes won by Manaal over 7f at Randwick at his last appearance five months ago. Backmarker who gets home hard. Will prove tough to stop. STAY SILENT (9) is racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid third at Flemington over 1m1f. Likely improver with strong prospects.
