GANGITANO (18) resumed two-and-a-half weeks ago over 6f at Sale and was only beaten 1.4 lengths into fifth after being in the firing line on the corner. Has never missed the frame second up. Must raise the bar but a better run will not surprise. MASTERFUL (1) was well supported when resuming last time out over 6f at Seymour and proved too strong, scoring by half a length. Open to plenty of improvement and must be respected. VITRUVIUS (5) has been out of the placings in two runs since a break, the latest when eighth, beaten 6 lengths, over 7f at Caulfield after he travelled towards the rear of the field. Will strip fitter and is capable of sharp improvement. LEGEND OF DUBAI (7) finished sixth when when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6½f at Sandown-Hillside after racing on the pace for much of the way. Solid top-three prospects.
