POWERBOUND (7) turned in a nice effort to score two runs ago at Geelong. Not as effective last time out when fifth over 1m at Sale, beaten 4.5 lengths. Looks well placed so expect a better run this time. TIME TO CHAT (15) returned from a break of six months with a solid fifth last start at Bendigo over 7f. Won't be bothered by this longer journey. Sure to be about the mark. TOP ARCTIC (8) didn't do a bad job when second last start after being in the firing line on the bend over 1m1/2f at Geelong, beaten half a length. That followed a win at Ballarat the start prior. Going up a level this time but he is up to the challenge. GRAND SAGE (4) turned in a much better effort last time out to score by half a length over 7½f at Bendigo. Likely to be there at the finish again.
