ABISSI (3) kept coming only to just miss as favourite last start over 1m2 1/2f at this track. Going well and has bright prospects. SEE YA CHAMP (11) ran on strongly but just failed to pick up the winner last start over 1m2f at Bunbury. Ready to go one better. STYLAX (1) settled well back then made a little ground and finished 5.5 lengths away in ninth last time out over 1m at this track a week-and-a-half ago. Tackles a longer journey this time. Will drift back but wind up late. Among the main hopes. BUCKLAND (14) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at Pinjarra Scarpside, finishing third and only 1.3 lengths from the winner at the end of 1m1/2f. Sure to be thereabouts.
