BEST MOOD (9) ran a better race last start to finish a close third over 7f at this track after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Finds an easier assignment and can find winning form. OUTFIELD (2) was impressive last time over 6f at Pinjarra Scarpside, scoring by 2 lengths. Should be prominent from the outset. Expecting a bold showing. THE GREAT HOYA (6) went forward last start and proved too strong, getting home by a nose over 6f at this track. Drawn to enjoy a nice run just off the speed. Facing a tougher assignment but he is good enough to take this out. BIRD'S THE WORD (1) saluted two runs ago then turned in a decent effort last time out when second over 6f at this track, beaten a neck. Expect a better run this time.
