Defiant heart (3) is racing well in town without winning.Was there to strike on straightening last time out over 5½f at rosehill but didn't quite finish off.Has a fine record at this trip and back in the country he looks a serious contender.Rising (4) returns from an 18-week spell.Led all the way to win an open handicap over 6f87yards here last prep.The winner of 2/3 when resuming so he has the right credentials.Demitasse (7) last raced when unplaced favourite over 6½f at the kensington track in july.Trialling in great style and with blinkers on for the first time today he is certainly one to keep safe.Just in reach (2) has won twice in open company this prep.Yet to miss the placings over 5f so he is hard to knock.Florida sky (5) returned to form here over 4½f last start and is in the mix.
