VIOLENT ROCK (8) was last at the races when he won over 5½f at Laurel (Dirt) on July 15. Lines up today for the first time for trainer Raymond Ginter (Jnr). Rates highly and is likely to be prominent. PURSUING PACE (1) finished out of the money two starts back then he got a long way back and was beaten 16 lengths when sixth in a 1m1/2f contest at this track three-and-a-half weeks ago. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. CENTRAL PRIDE (9) doesn't win out of turn, scoring just two times from 21 starts. Was again denied last start when he found a couple better over 7f at this track. In the right race and there is no reason he cannot get the major prize. SIR SMOAK (7) has put together back-to-back placings, the latest when 4 lengths away in second over 5½f at Delaware Park (Dirt). Best figures measure up and is sure to run well.
