NOCTILUCENT (1) made his debut last start and was just fair in finishing fourth at Gold Coast over 6½f, beaten 3.5 lengths. Can improve sharply and may be worth following up. WHOMSONEVER (5) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 7f at Lismore, beaten 4 lengths into sixth after being in the firing line on the corner. Finds a nice race and can turn things around. DULVERTON CHARM (2) is a 11-start maiden who has been in the money three times. Could only manage fourth at the latest appearance over 7¾f at Murwillumbah. Has a good record at this distance with two top-three results from four starts. Expected to measure up. TRAPEZE FLYER (4) turned in an eye-catching run over 6f at Charleville last time, ridden back before coming home with a powerful run to finish third. Will be doing his best work late.
