Dual point-to-point winner BEAU'S CANDLE (7) is a twelve-race maiden under rules. Was favourite on his first run for a new yard when a modest second of fourteen at Punchestown. Steps back up in trip and may get off the mark with a similar display. LOUGH NIGARA (2) recently recorded back-to-back placed efforts at Punchestown and Thurles. Further progress likely and could be in the mix. The longer journey on offer might be a source of improvement for DESPERADO GENIE (1). CAPTAIN JIMMY (8) looks fairly treated on figures and cannot be ruled out.
