QUEEN BEIRA (6) ran another good race last time when second over 1m at Bairnsdale, beaten one length. One of the big hopes in the race. MALE MODEL (2) lifted strongly only to just miss last start over 7f at Warrnambool. Nicely placed to go one better. FIORENSACT (3) turned in a nice effort to score two runs ago at Warracknabeal. Couldn't follow that up last time out when tenth over 1m at Tatura, beaten 6 lengths. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time. FREEDOM ESCAPE (1) was allowed to drift back from an outside draw last time but found the line strongly to finish fourth, beaten 4 lengths, over 1m at Murtoa. Has ability and a bold showing is expected.
