DIAMOND WAR (5) turned in a nice effort to score two runs ago at Horsham. Not as effective last time out when sixth over 7¼f at Edenhope, beaten 5 lengths. Looks well placed so expect a better run this time. SUPRENDRE (12) got off the mark over 1m at Wodonga last start, scoring by 1.5 lengths. Harder this time but still one to consider. ORION THE HUNTER (2) drifted well back last start before storming home to score by half a length over 7½f at this track. Solid top-three prospects.
