EXTRA BOUNCE (10) tackled the mile for the first time last start at Strathalbyn and after looking a winning chance halfway down the straight she found a couple better. Yet to break through this time in but hasn't been far away, with two placings to her name. Best form puts her right in this. PETA'S HEART (7) made an encouraging debut last time out, finishing 1.2 lengths from the winner in third over 7f at this track. Will be very hard to beat with that run under the belt. HARD LEAF (6) finished second at Mt Gambier two runs back but was less effective last time over 7f at this track, finishing 3.5 lengths back in sixth. Has his share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. TUFF OPERATOR (5) could only manage to finish sixth, beaten 6 lengths, at his latest appearance over 7½f at Port Augusta after he was well back on straightening. Among the chances in what looks a nice race for him.
