ROSE KNOWS (2) closed last campaign with back-to-back placings, the last of which was at this track nine weeks ago. Drawn to enjoy a nice run just off the lead. Sure to be in the finish. DULCE VICTORIA (12) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 5½f at this track, beaten 4 lengths into fourth after being prominent at the turn. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. PURDY PUMKIN (3) has been out of the winner's list for a long time, last start finishing fourth at this track (Dirt) over 1m. Placed to advantage so expect a better run this time. VAVITE (4) ran below expectations last time at this track (Dirt), finishing ninth and beaten 9 lengths. Well placed to make amends.
