MASTER PIECE (8) turned in a good performance last time over 1m2f in the G2 John Henry Turf Championship Stakes at Santa Anita (Turf), finishing 1.1 lengths from the winner in third. Won't be bothered by this longer journey. Likely to play a major role. PIONEERING SPIRIT (3) did well last time to finish second over 1m1 1/2f at this track (Turf) when he was always up in the leading division. Won at his only try over this journey. Expected to run well. CITY MAN (4) ran a better race last start to finish a close second over 1m1/2f at this track after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Well placed and can figure in the finish again.
