BLACK ADAM (1) is a maiden galloper who hasn't raced since finishing in the placings over 5f185yards at Wangaratta five months ago. Tuned right up with two lead-up trials. Expect a bold showing. ALOTOFSOJU (11) gave away a big start at the top of the straight last start and finished 3.5 lengths from the winner in fourth over 5½f at Tatura. Well placed on this occasion and gets her chance to break the ice. THE CUBAN (4) is back from a lay-off of five months. Closed last campaign with a minor placing over 5½f at Tatura. Looks a strong top-three prospect. BOUDICA WARRIOR (5) is a four-start maiden who returned last time and finished fifth at Echuca over 5f, beaten 5.5 lengths. Bold showing expected with added fitness this time.
