VILLASAURUS (4) was an effortless maiden winner last time out over 7f at Wagga, scoring by 6 lengths. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Nicely placed to double the win tally. DEEP CORE (11) has been thereabouts since getting off the mark three runs back, the latest effort a third over 7f at this track. Backmarker who gets home hard. Will be tough to hold out. DIAMOND CARAT (6) showed little early speed and was always well back last start when sixth, beaten 5.5 lengths, over this journey at Tumut. Meets some better types this time but she has the talent to test this line-up. PROPHET'S DAUGHTER (9) resumed three-and-a-half weeks ago over 6f at Wagga and was only beaten 1.5 lengths into fourth. Fitter and sure to run well.
