WAL'S ANGELS (3) returns after five months in the paddock. Closed the last campaign with a eighth over 6f at Canberra. Ran fourth in a recent trial at Canberra. Looks the one to beat. MR SATELLITE (15) missed the placings two starts back when resuming then ran a better race and finished 1.4 lengths away in fifth last time out over 5f at Wagga. Meeting a tougher field but on his best form he is one of the chief contenders. SONIC CRY (6) was prominent to the corner on debut last start but weakened to finish fourth over 5f at Tumut. Right in this. KERLE'S MISS (13) ran below expectations last start, finishing sixth and beaten 2 lengths at this track over 4½f. Suitably placed so expecting a better run this time.
