AGENT JAY (4) failed to run a strong 6f32yards last start after a close second over 6f at Mt Barker the run prior. Looks better placed over this shorter trip so can atone. VRUM (2) showed good early muster and fought on to finish second last start over 6f43yards at this track. In a suitable race and can go on to take this out. DANUBE RIVER (5) is back from a break of four-and-a-half months. Raced below par at her only appearance last prep when 11th over 5½f at Ascot. Makes plenty of appeal. FRANTIC WAR (6) turned in a much better effort last time out to score by 1.4 lengths over 5f at this track. Has his share of talent. Hard to beat again in this suitable race.
