Wednesday's Bath racing tips: Ruby Cottage looks red hot
Bath is a great track to tap into specialist runners and Planet Sport's experts are looked to several of those in their selections for Wednesday. June 22.
The south-west track is so exposed that it can often stage meetings on extremes of ground and at the height of the summer the word 'firm' is usually somewhere in the going description.
Wednesday's card is no different, with the ground described as 'good to firm', which should suit all three of our selections on what looks an open seven-race card.

17:30 (Bath) - Impeachment
After going well on her debut at Lingfield, Impeachment looks to hold strong claims of breaking her duck in the British EBF Fillies' Restricted Novice Stakes at Bath.
Having run very green in the early part of the race, she was not asked too many questions but there was a fair bit to like as she came home third of five.
She should be significantly better for that experience this time around and the daughter of Showcasing, who goes up half a furlong in trip this time, is taken to win on her first turf start.
18:00 (Bath) - Ruby Cottage
We mentioned Bath being a specialist's venue and one who could come to the fore again on Wednesday is Ruby Cottage, who runs in the At The Races App Form Study Handicap (18:00), over 5f 160y.
Regal Envoy, who also won here three starts ago and arrives on the back of a Salisbury success, looks the likely short-priced favourite. However, he is plenty short enough.
Ruby Cottage loves it here and, while she may look more exposed than the favourite, she is still going the right way after 13 races.
Her most recent C&D success came two starts back and represented a career-best effort. She wasn't far off that despite being beaten at Newbury last time and she looks the value with which to take on the 'jolly'.
19:00 (Bath) - Bethersden Boy
The Sky Sports Racing Sky 415 Handicap (19:00) is both interesting and open, with all of the field having something to prove.
That includes Bethersden Boy, who is yet to totally tick the fast ground box, having race on it only once. He ran reasonably well that day, so it's a chance that looks worth taking. His sire Excelebration won on good to firm, so there is cause for optimism.
The Richard Hughes-trained gelding has yet to return to the heights of his first two starts as a juvenile last season, when he won at Newmarket (6f, soft) on debut and also ran well next time at Newbury (6.5f, good to firm).
Three further runs last year saw his form peter out and he was gelded in the autumn. A 33/1 chance at Kempton on his recent reappearance, he delivered little.
However, he has now dropped to a workable mark of 75 and should be a fair bit better for that first run after a break. The Hughes string is in good form, so there are no concerns there.
The big positive here is that he steps up in trip to 1m. He has been running as though a little further would suit and he may now be able to get back to winning ways.
