Tuesday's Royal Ascot tips: Three each-way selections could bring home a tidy profit

Royal Ascot

It's day one of Royal Ascot and Planet Sport has a hot selection of tips for the big Group 1 races on Tuesday, June 14.

The Queen Anne Stakes, King's Stand Stakes and the St James's Palace Stakes give the opening day of Royal Ascot a real crackle of excitement, and Planet Sport tipster Pete Farries is a man looking for big value in these races.

Here's a quick run through of tipster Pete's selections for those three Grade 1 races, there's more detail below from him if you need it. You can also follow the racecards and results by using the Planet Sport live race centre.

15:30 Royal Ascot - Arecibo (e/w)
16:20 Royal Ascot - Mighty Ulysses (e/w)

14:30 Royal Ascot - Chindit (e/w)

This one is my first each-way of the day in the Queen Anne Stakes. It's Chindit, a horse I absolutely adore.
Ran really well when finishing third behind Baaeed in the Lockinge at Newbury in May.
Baaeed runs in this race too. He'll win this race, but that's not where the value is. it's in Chindit who has been in the mix against Baaeed, who could turn out to be one of the greats.

15:30 Royal Ascot - Arecibo (e/w)

The market favourite here is the US runner Golden Pal for Wesley Ward what a horse this is. Brilliant at Del Mar, brilliant at Keeneland and has won in the UK before, although not brilliantly, at York. Golden Pal is going to be rock hard to stop.

But the Robert Powell runner Arecibo has gone under the radar here. Finished third in the Temple Stakes, a great race that King's Lynn won, last time around. I was really impressed with him, so this is another I fancy each-way at a big price of around 25/1 at the time of recording.

16:20 Royal Ascot - Mighty Ulysses (e/w)

Mighty Ulysses is my star pick for the day for trainer John Gosden who has won this race twice in the last four years,

Mighty Ulysses looked good in the Silver Bowl finishing second behind Whoputfiftyinyou, and as an each-way bet this is really really good value.
