Thursday’s Yarmouth racing tips: Cuban Beat the one to be Havana punt on

Yarmouth

To sunny Yarmouth on Thursday, July 30 and Planet Sport have some super tips by the seaside. Cuban Beat can lead the cha cha cha-rge for James Ferguson.

Click on Planet Sport's Live Race Centre for all your information needs from Yarmouth including race cards.

Here's a quick reference list of Planet Sport's picks from Yarmouth.
Franco Grasso (13.50 Yarmouth)
Big Little Lie (14.20 Yarmouth)

Lord Uhtred (14.50 Yarmouth)

Western Writer (15.20 Yarmouth)

Cuban Beat (15.50 Yarmouth)

Clement Danes (16.20 Yarmouth)
Swell Song (16.50 Yarmouth)
Plus we've got some more juicy information on our three main picks from Yarmouth.

14.50 Yarmouth - Lord Uhtred

Charles Hill's Lord Uhtred has an entry for the Group 1 Vincent O'Brien National Stakes at the Curragh in September and he'll have to do well in the British Stallion Studs EBF Novice Stakes to be considered for that.

The Siyouni colt represents decent connections in KHK Racing whose black and yellow silks were carried to victory by Eldar Eldarov at Royal Ascot in the Queen's Vase.
Obviously destined for better things, a big run here under Cieren Fallon would be no surprise.

15.20 Yarmouth - Western Writer

Yarmouth is a strange track with plenty of no-hopers on display but also the odd useful type sent down the road from Newmarket.

Sharmadal gelding Western Writer looks the latter and should have too much in the Weatherbys Bloodstock Pro Handicap for Godolphin heavyweight Charlie Appleby.

Not out of the top three in any of his last three starts, this one should come on for a first run on turf for the boys in blue.

15.50 Yarmouth - Cuban Beat

James Ferguson's Cuban Beat should have plenty in the tank for the Class 5 Supporting Stable Staff Week Handicap.

Representing good owners Qatar Racing, the three-year-old Havan Gold filly was probably expected to contest stronger races.
Cieren Fallon can go one better than the last time out second at Thirsk if nailing the start by the seaside.
