We start with a horse named after an engineering great and Pete is aiming to engineer a decent return on Brunel Charm.

17.45 Lingfield - Brunel Charm

Pete is backing jockey turned trainer Richard Hughes to come up trumps in the "Into The Mystic" Deb's 20th Celebration Silk Series Apprentice Handicap.

A consistent performer who hasn't quite got his head in front, this can be the time he goes in says Pete.
Deon Le Roux takes off a hefty seven pounds and here is why Pete rates this charming pick.
"I don't understand the price here, a constant finisher in the top two, including here at Lingfield on a couple of occasions, Kempton last time and a few at Chelmsford as well."
"Whatever you throw in front of this horse right now isn't really resulting in a victory but is never resulting in anything other than a good run."

19.15 Lingfield - Income

Income can live up to her name and boost the coffers of backers in the Lingfield Park Supports Racing Staff Week Handicap.

Another Richard Hughes pick for Pete, this one took a nice fillies' handicap last time out at Newmarket as favourite over five furlongs.
Shane Kelly gets the leg up and here is a snippet of why Pete is counting on Income.
"Was a winner last time around by three quarters of a length, looked very very good. Comes back to Lingfield for the first time since victory a couple of months ago as well."
Income looks like a really good three-year-old, one to keep an eye on in the future."

20.15 Lingfield - Coco's Dream

Pete may have sniffed out another value bet with Coco's Dream in the Free Tips Daily On attheraces.com Fillies' Restricted Novice Stakes.

Terry Kent's Pearl Secret filly, didn't pull up any trees last time out at Kempton but has Harry Burns up top who takes off five pounds.
Here's a snapshot of why Pete thinks this could be one of value hunters' dreams.
"On first look the form of this horse doesn't look very good, horrible runs in fact in the two so far. However, I think on both occasions, wasn't ridden brilliantly."
"This time Harry Burns, I think is a very good jockey booking, I think is going to get an awful lot more out of Coco's Dream."
