Saturday ITV Racing Tips: Best bets for Sandown, York and Chester
The ITV cameras are rolling at three meetings on Saturday June 11 and we've a tip for each of eight live races.
The reasons behind our picks (listed below) are further down the page, while anyone considering a punt or two would do well to check out the race cards for Sandown, York and Chester, just a click away at Planet Sport's Racing Live Centre.
Selections:
Aldhaja (13.40 Sandown)
Dash Of Spice each-way (14.00 York)
Via Serendipity each-way (14.15 Sandown)
Lion Tower (14.35 York)
Caturra (14.50 Sandown)
Mandoob (15.05 York)
Outgate (15.20 Chester)
Roach Power (15.40 York)
13.40 Sandown - Aldhaja
Charlie Appleby's Maplewood looks the chief threat having run a creditable third on his handicap debut over a mile at York last month, when giving the impression he'd be suited by a return to further. His rider Adam Kirby has a 1-3 strike rate for the stable.
14.00 York - Dash Of Spice each-way
14.15 Sandown - Via Serendipity each-way
With his stable enjoying a double in midweek, one of which was ridden by star apprentice Harry Davies, who is claiming a valuable 5lb off the selection, everything looks in place for a big run at each-way odds.
14.35 York - Lion Tower
14.50 Sandown - Caturra
"He is just a really professional sprinter and he has an amazing temperament"

Clive Cox is hoping Caturra can vindicate the decision to swap an outing at Royal Ascot for a run in the @Coral Scurry Stakes at @Sandownpark on Saturday...https://t.co/NUy0cQq2QJ
15.05 York - Mandoob
Sure to strip fitter for that run and with today's extra two furlongs in his favour - he has always been considered a stayer in the making and holds an entry in the Irish St Leger - he runs in this instead of next week's far hotter Copper Horse Stakes at Royal Ascot.
15.20 Chester - Outgate
Another one for Ryan Moore!

15.40 York - Roach Power
His trainer may well have hatched a plan then to come back for this valuable sprint and he should be spot on after a couple of runs this season, most recently when finishing third on his handicap debut at Leicester nine days ago.
