Monday's Pontefract racing tips: Elegant Erin to excite in Yorkshire

Following a weekend of Jubilee celebrations, Planet Sport is up in Yorkshire to deliver some top selections for the racing at Pontefract on Monday, June 6.

Amo Racing could continue their run of success on Monday, when Double O attempts to pick up his first win for the owners at the Northern Commercials - Service, Sales And Parts EBF Maiden Fillies' Stakes.
The two-year-old has put on a good showing on both his outings to date, and it only seems a matter of time until he puts on a winning run.
The step up to six furlongs could suit him more than his previous outing at Carlisle, so back Double O to reward his owners with a win on Monday.
19:30 Pontefract - Elegant Erin
Elegant Erin will look to hand Paul Midgely a fourth successive win in the Castleford Tigers Handicap, after the Yorkshire handler managed three on the bounce.
The five-year-old looks to have a great chance too, after winning both of her starts this season.
The latest of those wins came at Carlisle, where her success cost her a 5lb rise, but that will hardly put a dent in her chances of scooping a hat-trick in Yorkshire.
20:00 Pontefract - Bavardages
Another looking to complete a hat-trick of wins is Bavardages, who won over a mile in his last two outings.
He'll have to wrestle with 10 furlongs on Monday, but there's still plenty to like about his chances in Yorkshire.
