14:35 (Lingfield) Hello Miss Lady

Dylan Cunha has a canny knack of getting the best out of low-cost recruits and Hello Miss Lady looks like another bargain buy for the South Africa-born trainer.

This daughter of Gleneagles cost just 6,500gns as a yearling and, to be fair, she did little to get excited about in her first two races at Newmarket and Sandown.

Both contests did feature some smart performers, but Hello Miss Lady was still allowed to start off as a 100/1 outsider on her latest outing at Kempton.

However, she belied those big odds by finishing a fine half-length second to Cognisance, who had previously impressed in an emphatic debut strike at Redcar.

Third home Port Road and fourth-placed Leadman already had strong form on the board, so there is plenty of evidence to support the value of that effort and suggest it was no flash in the pan.

Sixteen One made a good impression when just failing to wear down Kylie Of Lochalsh on her first start at Leicester.

17:20 (Lingfield) Pure Of Heart

Pure Of Heart failed to settle at Kempton last time but has hinted at ability on more than one occasion in the past, notably when a good second at this venue behind Queens Fort.

That winner went on to run in the Ribblesdale next time out, whereas Ollie Sangster is setting his sights much lower in the Download The At The Races App Fillies’ Handicap.

 

17:50 (Lingfield) Bluenose Belle

Bluenose Belle bounced back to form when runner-up tackling this trip at Kempton. Well-drawn in stall four under De Sousa. Rates highly off an unchanged rating.
