Galway each-way racing tips: Easy Game can continue winning form at hefty odds

Jumping action at Fakenham

Our partners at Tipstrr have run their numbers for us to narrow down the 22-runner field to bring us their most popular each-way picks in what promises to be a wide-open handicap chase at Galway.

18:40 Galway: Tote Galway Plate (2 miles 6 furlongs 111 yards)

Willie Mullins (five runners) and Gordon Elliott (six) account for exactly half of the field here, so it's hardly surprising that two of Tipstrr's most popular selections include at least one of their runners.

It is one of Mullins' string, Kilcruit who heads the early betting, while Elliott's Hollow Games is second-favourite, but their prices hold little appeal in a pinsticker's paradise such as this, with so many capable horses looking much more attractive prospects.

Top of that pile is Easy Game, trained by the Master of Closutton, and already with 16 wins under his belt, eight of which have come in his last nine outings since April 2022.

Planet Sport Bet: Bet £20+ cash on any runner in the race and if Fury Road finishes in the first 6 places, get a £5 Free Bet!

His only blemish was in this very race last year (he was runner-up in 2021), when he was badly hampered five out and never looked likely to recover.
He eased to a comfortable win on season debut at Listowel in June, and although the stable's leading jockey Paul Townend has plumped for Kilcruit here, Easy Game remains a worthy each-way play at a tasty double-digit price, especially with bookies paying out on as many as seven places.
Suggested bet: Easy Game each-way in the 18:40 at Galway

If you're looking for even larger odds is such a wide open race, then it might just be an opportune time to get on board experienced campaigner Foxy Jacks, who has begun his nine-year-old season looking as good as in any previous campaign.

Sometimes his jumping can let him down, but when he gets the final fence behind him he is rarely too far from the principal contenders.

He unseated his rider in the Cross Country Chase at Cheltenham in March, but returned from a three-month break to finish a close-up runner-up at Roscommon, before going one better last time out at Kilbeggan 19 days ago.

Useful claimer Gavin Brouder offers a five-pound boost, while the retention of headwear should hopefully help keep him focused over the obstacles.
Suggested bet: Foxy Jacks each-way in the 18:40 at Galway
