Ballinrobe best bet: Nobody Home widely tipped for each-way value

Ballinrobe racecourse

There’s a strong consensus among Tipstrr’s team of pundits that Nobody Home carries overpriced each-way value in this handicap chase in Monday’s evening meeting at Ballinrobe.

19:00 Ballinrobe: McHale F5000 Range Veterans Handicap Chase (2 miles 3 furlongs)

Top weight The Echo Boy heads the market on the strength of his comfortable win at Kilbeggan 17 days ago, although his jockey that day, JJ Slevin, is replaced by a five-pound claimer here.

Slevin is on the unfancied Whatsafellatodo here, which might prove significant, but the buzz within the Tipstrr community is that bottom-weight Nobody Home is set to defy the bookies and the form book to out-run his outsider price.

Although winless in ten outings since 2020, this veteran 13 year-old is raced more selectively these days, and has failed to complete on either of his last two outings spanning a 99-day winter break.
He was pulled up quickly in a longer three-mile handicap chase in softer conditions in February, and returns to action after another extended 106-day break.

Running off his lowest mark in more than five years, his odds have generally more than halved since opening up at 33/1, but Nobody Home should still carry some each-way value at a double-digit price.

Suggested bet: Nobody Home each-way in the 19:00 at Ballinrobe
