Aintree Festival 2023: Mersey Hurdle tips - You Wear It Well looking smart after Cheltenham win

You Wear It Well ridden by Gavin Sheehan wins the Racing Again 1st March Open NH Flat Race at CatterickFebruary 14, 2022
As we build up to the Grand National, so the quality of the racing seems to step up a notch, and this year’s Mersey Hurdle looks like another competitive renewal.
Another high-class Grade One field lines up to take on 13 obstacles over a two-and-a-half-mile course.
Last year's winner was Gordon Elliott's 5/2 shot Three Stripe Life, and was unusual for being the only favourite to win on Grand National Day in 2022.
Dark Raven and Hermes Allen are jostling for favourite status, which leaves You Wear It Well with a handy price at which even a place would bring some each-way profit.
She did come second best to Hermes Allen in the Challow Hurdle at Newbury, but that has been her only reversal in five impressive outings this season, culminating in a commanding win in the Dawn Run Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival.
She looked in fine fettle then, and her seven-pound mares' allowance is likely to serve her well again here.
Just edging the each-way outsider popularity stakes in the Tipstrr community is Jonjo O'Neill's Springwell Bay, who looks like there is more to come.
This smart hurdler has also only lost once this season, when finishing a Supreme Trial at Cheltenham behind Fennor Cross, who notably won the William Hill Handicap Hurdle here on Friday.
