The return of the GOAT: Tiger Woods set to bounce back in Bahamas

Tiger Woods will make another long-awaited return to golf at the Hero World Challenge in the Bahamas on 30 November.

Woods underwent ankle surgery in April after withdrawing from The Masters, and has not played competitively since. The 47-year-old is the host of the invitational event at Albany.

The TGR Live X account confirmed that Woods will take the 20th and final playing place in the event, being joined by exemptions Justin Rose and Lucas Glover.

Other superstars set to take part include Jordan Spieth, Matt Fitzpatrick and Viktor Hovland.

"My ankle is fine," he told the Associated Press two weeks ago.

"Where they fused my ankle, I have absolutely zero issue whatsoever. That pain is completely gone. It's the other areas that have been compensated for.

"But all the surrounding areas is where I had all my problems and I still do. So you fix one, others have to become more hypermobile to get around it, and it can lead to some issues."
