The world's top golfers gather for the 2024 season as they aim to claim glory and prize money on the tours across the world over the next twelve months.
Obviously the big focus is on the four Majors - The Masters, the PGA Championship, the US Open and of course The Open Championship - which take place between April and July.
Scottie Scheffler took the first Major of the year, claiming a nerveless second Masters title in the space of three years at Augusta National.
In May, Xander Schauffele answered questions about his ability to close out tournaments in emphatic fashion with a wire-to-wire victory in the US PGA Championship.
At Pinehurst in June, Rory McIlroy let a 10-year wait for a fifth major slip through his fingers as Bryson DeChambeau claimed his second US Open title.
Schauffele won his second major title in quick succession in the 152nd Open in July to complete an American clean sweep of the sport’s biggest titles.
In August, Scheffler was crowned Olympic men’s champion at Paris 2024, while New Zealand's Lydia Ko won the women's event.
McIlroy missed out again at the BMW PGA Championship in September, losing to Billy Horschel in a play-off.

Shaun Norris claimed his second DP World Tour title after winning the Alfred Dunhill Championship by one shot.
Patty Tavatanakit and Jake Knapp won the Grant Thornton Invitational won by one shot after a 65 in the modified four-ball mixed tournament.
December 5-8
Johannes Veerman claimed his second DP World Tour title at the Nedbank Golf Challenge in South Africa, overturning a five-stroke deficit in the final round.
Scottie Scheffler defended his Hero World Challenge title finishing six shots clear of South Korea's Tom Kim.

A final-round 68 gave American rookie Ryggs Johnston the biggest win of his career at the Australian Open.
November 21-24
Elvis Smylie won the Australian PGA Championship in Brisbane after holding off former Open champion Cameron Smith down the back nine.
Maverick McNealy claimed his first PGA Tour win with a one-shot victory in the RSM Classic in Georgia.
November 14-17
Rory McIlroy secured a third DP World Tour Championship and a sixth Race To Dubai title at Jumeirah Golf Estates' Earth Course.
Rafael Campos is a winner on the PGA Tour. Campos, a 36-year-old journeyman in his 14th year as a professional golfer, fired a final-round 68 at Port Royal Golf Course on Sunday to win the Butterfield Bermuda Championship. The win is just the second pro victory for the Puerto Rico native and his first on the PGA Tour.
November 7-10
England's Paul Waring claimed his second title on the European Tour and first in six years with a two-shot victory in the Abu Dhabi Championship.
Austin Eckroat fired a nine-under-par 63 to win the World Wide Technology Championship at the Tiger Woods-designed El Cardonal at Diamante in Los Cabos, Mexico.

Justin Thomas fell one shot short of winning his first PGA Tour title in over two years as Colombian Nico Echavarria claimed victory at the Zozo Championship in Chiba.
Byeong-hun An defeated fellow South Korean Tom Kim in a play-off to claim the Genesis Championship on home soil.
October 17-20
France’s Julien Guerrier defeated Spain’s Jorge Campillo in a record-equalling play-off to win his first DP World Tour title in the Andalucia Masters.
JT Poston claimed his third PGA Tour victory as he held on to win the Shriners Children’s Open in Las Vegas.
October 10-13
England's Dan Bradbury fired three consecutive birdies on the back nine to emerge from a pack of title contenders and win the Open de France at Le Golf National.
October 3-6
Tyrrell Hatton survived a late stumble to win the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship for a record third time at St Andrews.
Taiwan’s Kevin Yu defeated American Beau Hossler in a play-off to win his first PGA Tour title in the Sanderson Farms Championship.

Jon Rahm was denied a record fourth Open de Espana title as compatriot Angel Hidalgo claimed his maiden DP World Tour win in a play-off.
The United States completed a 10th successive Presidents Cup victory with a 18.5-11.5 win over the International team in Canada.

Billy Horschel condemned golf's self-proclaimed "nearly man" Rory McIlroy to another heartbreaking defeat in the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth.

Denmark’s Rasmus Hojgaard produced a brilliant finish to win the Irish Open and inflict a second heartbreaking defeat of the year on home favourite Rory McIlroy.
The United States held off a brave fightback from Europe to win the Solheim Cup for the first time since 2017 in dramatic fashion in Virginia.

England’s Matt Wallace held his nerve in a play-off to register his first DP World Tour win in six years with victory at the Omega European Masters.

Scottie Scheffler won the £19million FedEx Cup after landing the Tour Championship title in Atlanta.
