Gemma Dryburgh back in contention at the JM Eagle LA Championship after late rally
Scotland's Gemma Dryburgh clawed her way back into a chance of winning another LPGA Tour title at the JM Eagle LA Championship in Los Angeles.
Gemma Dryburgh fought her way back into contention for a second LPGA title as she fired a third-round 66 in the JM Eagle LA Championship.
The Scot had opened with a 65 before a second-round 76 saw her plummet down the leaderboard.
But three birdies in her first five holes helped Dryburgh to six-under-par and fourth spot heading into the final round - three shots behind the leader Cheyenne Knight.
A bogey-free 67, which featured an eagle three on the 13th, left the American two clear of South Korea's Hae Ran Ryu and Australian Hannah Green, who birdied five of her last six holes.
England's Charley Hull continued her improvement each round with a 69 to reach two under with Georgia Hall one over after a second successive 71.
